Management, Training and Development

 The proposal is organized around the Concentration Area “Management, training and development”, considering that the complexity of the current context requires organizations to adapt to the global environment, characterized by high competitiveness, acceleration in processes and technological, social and knowledge dynamics.
In this sense, this area groups research work in organizations in the South of Minas Gerais, expanding the understanding of its evolution, its structures, its conflicts and its difficulties, allowing to contribute to organizational development (in the micro plan) and the socio-economic development of the region (macro-level). Regional development, in view of its economic, social and political dimensions, is considered from the actors involved, social interests, forms of cooperation and collaboration, enhancing the transformation of the territory and its communities. Development processes will be considered in their economic, social and institutional aspects, linked to discussions on public policies of essential services – such as health, education, transportation – and specific public policies on work, technology, industry and agriculture. The management processes will be considered from historical, social, economic and political perspectives, contemplating the study of public and It is associated with the evolution of organizational forms for the use of technology and for the production of goods and services.
The training processes will be considered from their epistemic, psychosociological and professional characterization, from the issues of professionalization and professional development, the impact of new technologies on the development of work, Discussing the forms of organization and flexibility of work and its impacts on training and social processes.
This area of concentration groups theoretical and empirical research both in immediate contexts (family, school, community), and in broader contexts (media, organizations, governments) that may have influence on the region and its development trajectory.
